The Inside Sales Account Executive is responsible for managing and executing sales strategies to drive the domestic and/or global sales efforts of the company’s products, systems, and services. This role involves developing sales plans, maintaining operating budgets and sales forecasts, and engaging with clients via telephone and electronic communications to close deals. The position requires working with both new customers and an existing customer base and handling large, diverse, and complex territories and products. The Inside Sales Account Executive is independent from the field sales force and carries individual sales quotas.
This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Engage with prospective and existing clients through multichannel, inbound, and outbound sales activities.
Generate new sales leads through cold calling and follow up on existing leads.
Actively negotiate and close sales, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Represent the company professionally in all client interactions and promote company offerings.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Provide regular sales forecasts and budget reports.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
Experience:
Minimun of two years of experience in a related sales role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Experience in managing complex sales processes and large territories.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with CRM software and proficient in using electronic communication tools.
Understanding of sales processes within the assigned industry and market.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, employing tact and diplomacy.
Ability to work independently with moderate authority to negotiate terms and conditions.
Salary range $24.00- $26.00. Bonus / Commission Eligible.
