Supervisor Warehouse – 1st shift

The Supervisor leads a team of direct workers within warehousing and makes sure work is carried out according to the warehouse plan. He/she also leads one or two team leaders As the Supervisor Warehouse, you are responsible for the logistics process (incoming, outgoing, returns, cycle count, etc.) of newbuild machines, and for the Spare Parts worldwide. The ideal candidate works in close collaboration with colleagues in the departments: Production, Assembly, Supply Chain, Service, Shipping Logistics, HR, Industrial Engineering, etc.

What you’ll be doing 

Key elements of your role include:

• Partly working hands-on in the Warehouse
• Ensures working of direct reports, facilitating tasks, and fulfilling the tasks within the defined time, amount, quality and costs and according to safety and health protection regulations
• Conduct performance appraisals, goal setting interviews and other relevant HR tasks
• Recognize the need for necessary trainings of direct reports
• Responsible for regular and proper performance of maintenance, control and revisions of machines, technical equipment, instruments, and tools

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work Experience
• Knowledge of logistical concepts and processes
• Experience and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization
