Business Performance Specialist (Business Intelligence, Data Analysis)

Are you passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights that directly influence global business strategy? How would you like to be the go-to expert for sales and performance data, driving innovation in reporting processes with cutting-edge BI tools like Tableau? In this role, you’ll modernize and automate business performance reporting, providing key insights that shape strategic decisions for Vectorworks and its leaders. By leveraging advanced analytics and visualization tools, you’ll help unlock new opportunities and drive measurable results across global markets. The Business Performance team delivers actionable analysis and insights that empower the Go-To-Market Division to make data-driven decisions, directly impacting the company’s growth and success worldwide. During this role you will:

• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and Excel reports to track monthly sales and marketing performance.
• Assist in the automation and modernization of reporting processes across GTM operations.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and build presentations for executive-level stakeholders.
• Support sales forecasting by analyzing trends across countries and product categories.
• Collaborate closely with teammates to manage recurring reports and special projects.

 Here is what success looks like:

• Comfortable using Excel with advanced formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, pivot tables, INDEX, CONCATENATE).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights and tell stories with data.
• Clear, professional communication with both peers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team while managing deadlines.
• Design-oriented approach to reports and visualizations that match brand standards.

 Extra credit:

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Tableau Prep.
• Basic understanding of relational databases or querying tools like MySQL.
• Experience working with data from systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, or SQL Pro.
• Previous collaboration with international teams or cross-cultural communication experience.
• Exposure to financial, sales, or marketing analytics projects in a business setting.

 Compensation: Annual base salary of $60,000 - $70,000 USD.
