Supervisor II, Production

Is Greatness in your Nature?  In Forest City, Iowa, Winnebago is looking for an experienced supervisor to lead a team of production associates in meeting company targets and objectives. Ensure that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Strive to continually improve using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve production and quality. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct employees and lead department meetings.
• Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are monitored, and targets achieved.
• Support a high-performance culture where suggestions are embraced.
• Give feedback to drive employee development.
• Drive Productivity and Safety improvements.
• Perform Labor reporting for employees.
• Recommend  process improvements.
• Interview and select employees.
• Recommend wage adjustments.
• Other duties as assigned based on business need.

Education & Experience: 

• Prefer a Bachelor's degree, or 8-10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must possess strong people skills and show strong engagement skills.
• Must be able to communicate well, both written and verbally.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be a self-starter, and able to develop plans to meet corporate goals.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly.
• Proven track record within manufacturing management.
• Ability to design processes and layouts.
• Basic understanding of waste, downtime, scrap and re-work. 
• Experience with Kaizen, A3, Continuous Improvement preferred
