Senior Manager, Corporate Procurement & Travel

Develops and oversees all functions related to VSP Global’s procurement operations, supplier management, and related technologies. Leads process, policy development, and technologies related to the procurement function; VSP Global’s travel and meetings & events program; and analytics and standards flow across all lines of business.

Establish and drive the development and execution of organizational goals, objectives, and operating procedures in line with the overall business plans and objectives.

Establish and maintain long-term productive relationships with vendors and suppliers; ensure positive company reputation is maintained

Develop policies and procedures to ensure procurement processes and related budgets, accounting, recordkeeping, and documentation are accurate and effective.

Responsible for developing, delivering, and executing supplier governance programs for all suppliers across VSP Global.  Work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, information security, risk management, accounts payable, business owners, and other groups to ensure all stakeholder needs are being monitored.

Manage the procurement operations and support functions including purchasing and requisition technology for the creation of shopping carts, purchase orders, and confirmations.

Ensure technology providers are providing up-to-date information regarding the software and ensure VSP Global can take advantage of the software capabilities provided.

Responsible for the development of data governance to ensure high-quality data for purchasing and travel analysis.

Manage the development of reports and dashboards, ensuring understanding for various audiences, to drive positive results.

Manage daily operations of a corporate vehicle program, including purchasing of vehicles, management of maintenance programs, and policy creation and maintenance.

Manage the Travel, Meetings, and Events programs, ensuring VSP Global’s travel program compliance.

Manage the inventory management of consumables and other indirect materials required to support the lens production process. Manage hot spares (critical spare parts), to minimize downtime and leverage economies of scale.

Manage the delivery of supplier relationship management oversight practices, including, but not limited to supplier scorecards, cost/benefit tracking, risk tracking, contract deliverable tracking, compliance tracking, and more.

Manage the supplier diversity program ensuring collection of diverse supplier data, certifications, and spending, and report quarterly to Vision Care clients.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 1 additional year of experience related to functional area

Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing the performance of direct reports

Strong understanding of supply chain operations

Demonstrated ability to work with individuals on a global level

Flexible and able to quickly and effectively change priorities and direction

Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Travel domestic and international

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $90,000.00 - $145,000.00
