About the team:

The FIS Next Generation Implementations team has the charter to facilitate technology transformation for large financial institutions who are implementing strategic products at FIS such as Digital One Consumer Studio.  Technology transformation includes a business value focus on continuous improvement, pipeline automation, and software delivery that spans multiple components and services.  We are looking for passionate and talented individuals who are comfortable working multiple appropriately prioritized issues and/or projects at a time. One who desires to be a part of this transformative delivery team where they will grow personally, technically and professionally.

Job Description:

FIS is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager that will work on complex projects as the primary technical point of contact to coordinate deliverables and manage execution to meet the objectives of the business sponsors.  This a technical role that can work across disciplines to understand dependencies, translate requirements to technical deliverables, and coordinate action at all points of the delivery cycle, from development through to production.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Solution, manage and execute on initiatives and special projects.
  • The projects are technical – DevOps, Infrastructure, Development, and Sales Support
  • The projects are orientated around business goals – driving our fast growth.
  • The projects will creating operational process around technical activities.
  • Create and communicate plans and concepts, to align stakeholders.
  • Research solutions and communicate options.
  • Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, QA, DBAs and development teams to deliver business goals.
  • Work closely with DevOps on automation and infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with the QA team to improve automation, process and efficiency.
  • This role manages projects and initiatives. There are no direct reports, but proficiency in managing throughout our matrixed organization is required.

Education Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of FIS products and services

• Understanding of SDLC and DevOps concepts

• IT Generalist skills, with background and understanding in many technical areas.
• Skill in project management, organization, communications, analytical and people skills
• Skill in leading, supervising and managing effectively under pressure

• Ability to work with ambiguity and drive towards solution
• Ability to be comfortable interacting with executive level clients
• Ability to analyze client's business needs and determine related information services support
• Ability to maintain positive working relationship with client
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and problem areas
• Ability to delegate projects to qualified subordinates as appropriate
• Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively
• Ability to operate independently
• Ability to exhibit solid decision-making and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

The pay range for this full-time position is $138,600.00 - $232,850.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.
