Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced commercial Sr. Construction Project Manager to join our team of professional builders in the Tampa, FL area. 

• Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate managers. 
• Reviews objectives to determine success of operation. 
• Develops, modifies, executes company polices that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effect. 
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. 
• Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. 
• Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction. 
• Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS Engineering, Business/Finance or related curriculum and 10 years of commercial construction or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience as a Senior Construction Project manager on a large commercial construction project.
• Experience in the management and selection of subcontractors.
• Ability to interact with team members as well as key stakeholders, Owners Reps, etc.
• Proficiency with construction management software (CMiC).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience in sports complex, high rise, hospitality construction.
• Strong communication, team building and problem-solving skills. 
• Demonstrated success in the completion of complex construction projects on time and within budget.

• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• This position is not hybrid nor remote.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
