- Execute timely repairs, installations, and mechanical constructions for all plant and utility equipment.
- Perform and document preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled for all plant and utility equipment.
- Escalate and communicate mechanical issues proactively to minimize downtime on equipment.
- Assist external contractors to ensure alignment with plant standards, and to minimize project and expense costs.
- Track and follow up on work orders to ensure completion and quality with maintenance supervisor.
- Maintain effective on-call availability and responsiveness during off-shifts.
- Collaborate closely with the maintenance supervisor and manager to understand issues and address
- Safely able to stop one task to address another as needed throughout the work day.
Outcome: Key Actions:
- Model and reinforce safe work practices in line with the Buckman Way.
- Be involved with at least one safety/improvement team each year.
- Take ownership of housekeeping area and constantly look at how best to improve it.
- Take ownership for identifying and resolving safety, health, or environmental risks.
- Participate fully in safety audits, incident investigations, training, and meetings.
- Operate in full compliance with company safety and environmental procedures.
100% compliance with boiler operation standards and inspections. Actions:
- Maintain working knowledge of Buckman boiler procedures and regulations.
- Monitor, log, and interpret boiler data; adjust chemical feed rates as needed.
- Respond to alarms and maintain awareness of control system operations.
- Catch samples on a weekly basis and log in book
- Blow down all boiler systems daily
- Review soft water system, add salt as needed to keep conductivity at right levels
- Move Tank Farm Water, Tank 13 Waste water Movements, and T28 Water Level Monitoring
