Job Description

Senior Product Analyst, Order-to-Cash will play a significant role in the definition and implementation of an over-arching application design and build. The successful candidate will perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas, though being focused in one or two. This individual will also seek to ensure the optimum utilization of existing system platforms and their integration while considering and / or facilitating the justified deployment of new technologies in response to business requirements. As a Senior Product Analyst, this role will be responsible for performing configuration and preparing functional and technical design documents and reviewing the work of junior product team members and managed services providers. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding NBCU business processes requirements by engaging with business partners at enterprise and division level.
  • Craft adaptable, comprehensive, and feasible solutions by creating necessary blueprint documents for functional requirements
  • Design functional solutions to solve business problems and needs
  • Ensure agreement on design with process owners
  • Participate in Order-to-Cash initiatives relating to customer management, e-invoicing, order processing, invoice automation, accounts receivable, payment processes and collections.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis via discovery by engaging with business units and product team members
  • Review and/or participate in solution build and test activities on implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects
  • Review work performed by junior team members as per established standards
  • Review current standards and revise to ensure best practices
  • Serve as the conduit between engagement team, business, and engineering.
  • Assist in vendor selection, product selection, and strategy related to Order-to-Cash solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent
  • 7+ years of progressive Order-to-Cash hands on experience leading up to a senior product analyst level of work in a consultative and/or IT capacity with at least 3 project implementations of high complexity, large scale and global user base
  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash applications (Example: SAP-SD) and Basic knowledge of DW and Security
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills
  • Possess interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of Business and IT
  • Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
  • Adherence to IT project methodologies, and change control processes
  • Familiarity and comfort in working in an outsourced module with onshore and offshore resources
  • Strong / effective influencing skills
  • Strong / effective problem-solving skills
  • Conceptual to detailed thinking skills
  • Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product Experience: SAP: SD, BRIM, VISTEX
  • Experience using integration tools such as:
    • Gentran Integration Suite™ (GIS) / Sterling Integrator
    • Tibco
    • Informatica
    • SAP Cloud Integration
    • SAP API Gateway
  • Experience with Worksoft, uPerfrom and HPALM
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Teams)
