Investment Associate, Material Science & Sustainable Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibilities will be to source and evaluate new investments.

• Invest in and contribute to building portfolio companies shaping the future of sustainability and innovation. 

• As a member of the investment team, you will gain broad exposure to and the ability to learn from GPs, other investment professionals, and Venture and Operating partners with deep domain expertise.  

• As part of your role, you will be exposed to various facets of venture capital, including developing investment theses, conducting financial analysis, providing support to portfolio companies, participating in investment decision-making, and contributing to fundraising efforts. 

Qualifications

• You hold a PhD in material science, chemical engineering or similar.

• You have one year of investing experience, preferably at a Venture Capital firm.

• You have demonstrated industry experience and established connections in your expertise.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication.

The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $200,000. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, and skills. We offer a competitive performance bonus plan based on individual performance and company success.
