Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) seek a dynamic and collaborative People & Culture Business Partner. This job reports to the Chief People, Culture & Equity Officer in the People, Culture & Equity (PCE) division. The People, Culture & Equity (PCE) division is a critical partner focused on delivering a progressive people agenda that attracts, develops, and retains top talent and engenders a culture that is a great place to work for all.
Purpose:
The P&C Business Partner plays a critical role in providing PPFA leaders and staff with strategic, professional support and guidance in order to meet organizational needs, attract and retain talent, and reduce workplace liability. The Business Partner supports the development of strategies, systems and programs that support the People, Culture & Equity strategic goals while meeting organizational needs. ●Designs and/or reviews policies and procedures; offers insight and interpretation to leaders and staff. ●Leads People, Culture & Equity specific projects and/or programs that tie to the org-wide initiatives and strategic goals of the People, Culture & Equity division and PPFA. ●Serves as a trusted advisor and/or mentor for leaders and staff for any and all employee and leadership related needs. ●Manages employee relations and conflicts, offering mediation and resolution while offering a diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging lens. ●Offers performance management guidance and support to people managers; supports staff growth and development. ●Is a hands-on leader and partner with a commitment to people and the organization. ●Builds strategic approaches to improve the relationship between leaders and employees. ●Liaisons with leaders to offer the most current and resourceful guidance on policies and best practices to ensure quality and compliance and to mitigate legal risks. 
Delivery:The P&C Business Partner is responsible for tying together organizational goals and strategy, workplace culture and values, leadership and employee engagement needs and desires, and combines these things all together to meet the optimal organizational outcomes in all programs and initiatives. 
●Provides leadership guidance and thought partnership to the various divisional teams and departments. ●Oversees the portfolio of projects, as assigned, based on PCE needs.●Expands the reach, influence, and partnership of the various PCE teams by analyzing gaps, identifying opportunities and existing resources, creating new partnerships, and capturing critical aspects related to ensuring optimal design and delivery. ●Collaborate with PCE functions (e.g., Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and DEI) to further division priorities and address ad-hoc client needs●Develop plans for project, program, and resource needs to create conditions for optimal and successful delivery of programming to support the mission of the organization. ●Originate PCE long-term goals in alignment with organization-wide strategic goals. 
Engagement: 
The Business Partner works closely with all members of the PCE division in addition to the Division leaders across the National Office in order to deliver PCE expertise in organizational design, development, and delivery. 
●Networks with a range of stakeholders, developing strategies and objectives based on PPFA and PCE initiatives and programs. ●Demonstrate keen ability to collaborate and build relationships with leaders across divisions and other key stakeholders, including affiliate leaders.●Exemplify exceptional judgment and ability to handle rapid-response scen
