As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position is unarmed and requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate: $24.10 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while adhering to established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
- Interact professionally with the public, employees, and visitors to help to maintain a positive environment.
- Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities.
- Follow all instructions provided by Allied Universal management and on-site leadership to support the security-related needs of the location.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
