Job Description

Graduates are the future leaders of O-I and we are committed to finding the best and brightest talent for our Sales & Marketing Development Program (SMDP). This 3 year rotational program is designed to prepare you for a successful and enduring career with us. You will be offered challenging and diverse opportunities while being supported through a structured learning and development program, with access to a variety of on the job activities, networking and social activities. Your experience with O-I will challenge you, broaden your exposure to the organization and give you a strong foundation.

In the SMDP, you’ll apply your sales and marketing skills in assignments in sales, marketing and customer excellence. During these assignments you will also gain exposure to other functional areas that you will work closely with in a sales and marketing role such as finance, supply chain, quality and manufacturing.

Required Rotations:

Sales: ~1 year

You will be assigned to a sales rotation where you will get exposed to the work assigned to our sales team and you will have micro experiences in finance (forecasting and planning) supply chain (demand planning, logistics, procurement) and quality and manufacturing to better understand how this role interacts with these functional areas.

Marketing: ~1 year

You will be assigned a marketing rotation where you will get exposed to the work within our marketing function.  Additionally you will have micro experiences in container design and concept design.

Customer Excellence: ~1 year

You will be assigned a customer excellence rotation where you will get exposed to the work within our customer excellence team.  Additionally, you will have micro experiences in quality and manufacturing which will include plant visit(s).

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Sales or Marketing preferred but could also include degrees in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Manager or other closely related degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A record of achievement. We want to see what you’ve accomplished. Show us examples from school, work or extra-curricular activities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments to meet objectives.
• Must be 100% committed to relocation during the SMDP if needed

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is $57,000 with a completed Bachelor's, and $74,000 with a completed Masters.
