Toole Design Group in Kansas City, MO is looking to hire an experienced and talented full- time Project Accountant. A Day in the Life of a Project Accountant

You are at the forefront for the financial management and health of multiple projects. This includes: monitoring project performance by reviewing budgets and forecasting potential overruns, creating and maintaining project accounts in the accounting system using established procedures, maintaining work-in-process folders and files for all projects, setting up and closing out projects in the ERP system, assisting project managers with billing issues, reconciling receipts and budgets and communicating with the project manager as required, preparing invoices, analyses of performance, compiling information for internal and external auditors and contributing to staff trainings.

Work Schedule for a Project Accountant:

This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2-3 days per week.  The Kansas City office of Toole Design Group is conveniently located in a vibrant, transit-friendly area that offers multiple options for mass transportation and biking. The location benefits from its proximity to key public transit routes, including several bus lines that run along Southwest Boulevard, providing easy access to downtown Kansas City, nearby neighborhoods, and key points of interest like Union Station. The Kansas City Streetcar is also within a short biking distance, offering free rides throughout the downtown corridor, making it convenient for both commuters and visitors.
