The primary responsibility of this job is to act as “system driver” for a next generation reticle inspection system. This means managing tool time, acting as the first level of technical support for issues arising during integration and testing, and carrying out maintenance and recovery tasks. The system driver will technically sustain, support, debug, improve, and upgrade the system during the early integration phase of development, through full hand-off to manufacturing. This includes the Platform vacuum system, stage sub-system, light source, air and vacuum robots, vibration isolation sub-system, ultra-high vacuum and vent, and others.
• Manage schedule for a system during integration, and coordinate tool time on an hour-by-hour basis with key stakeholders.
• Carry out procedures defined by subsystem or systems engineers.
•Act as the first line of system-level support: recover the tool from known error conditions, perform diagnostic steps to isolate the cause of the issue, escalate to the appropriate subject matter expert if speciality expertise is required.
• Perform preventative maintenance or recover tasks using pre-defined procedures.
• Write assembly, test, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Debug and troubleshoot design problems.
• Test and debug sub-system and system level issues, such as particle contamination, chemical contamination, vacuum issues, vent/gas-line issues, alignment issues, and stage positioning issues.
• Occasional weekend or night/evening support will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working hands-on with complex capital equipment in early integration phases.
• Strong general troubleshooting and diagnostic skillset.
• Ability to follow complex technical procedures that are not 100% complete or fully polished.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Level Degree or higher with work experience of 3 years in a manufacturing or system integration environment
• Associate’s degree with work experience of 5 years in a manufacturing or system integration environment
