About the role

The manager of Analytics will be responsible for leading a team of analysts in developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experience. This high-profile role will work closely with the Above Lending executive team to identify opportunities, define goals, build reports, and solve problems to drive rapid business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the fintech industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve the customer experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including executive leadership to identify opportunities, define goals, and develop initiatives that drive material business value
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance and provide insights the executive team to inform decision-making
• Develop and maintain key performance metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and improve the effectiveness of product and operational initiatives
• Develop predictive models to improve operations and KPIs
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to communicate key performance metrics to stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologie to identify opportunities for innovation
• Manage relationships with external data vendors and service providers

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, engineering, or similar (quantitative)
• Scored a 1450+ SAT or equivalent
• Expert level SQL skills
• Expert level tableau skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and concise messaging
• Experience defining KPIs
• Experience building clear, easily digestible dashboards and other reports
