Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant - University Recruiting, will support a team of recruiters to enable our university and early career talent strategy.  In this role you will partner with recruiters to enable the sourcing, attraction, selection and hiring process and provide in depth expertise in the use of related metrics, data analytics and reporting to ensure governance and consistent compliance.  You will provide consultative support to the recruiting team and stakeholders regarding university recruiting process, policy, and program updates. You will also collaborate with the manger to ensure the team recruiting processes, execution, and strategy are delivering strong candidate experience and meeting business early talent pipeline strategies. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify regional challenges and gaps and take action to create solutions, including recruitment dashboards and the creation of standard operating procedure documents.
  • Apply specific knowledge of the internal and external business environment, requirements, recruiting technology systems and strategies to provide routine process and policy oversight for recruiters on the delivery of full cycle recruiting services both regionally and globally.
  • Support the recruiting manager in talent development, succession planning and engagement for a team within the designated region.
  • Develop and maintain key internal relationships which may include hiring managers, human resource professionals and other key stakeholders.
  • Advocate and orchestrate talent acquisition resources to deliver strategic activities such as analytics, talent mapping and candidate pipelining.
  • Recruit for key positions as necessary based on demand.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to make recommendations to improve sourcing and recruiting strategies, methods, and processes.
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes and protocols
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel and attend events up to 10% of time.

 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience creating, assessing, and shaping university and/or early talent recruiting strategies.
  • Experience presenting recruiting strategy, recommendations, and/or gaining buy in from stakeholders. 
  • Experience building diverse recruiting portfolio including school analysis, partnerships with campus multi-cultural organizations and national minority organizations.
  • Experience with Handshake
