Job Summary

Triumph Gear Systems located in Macomb, Michigan seeks an Accounting Co-Op to assist the Controller. This is a part-time position 20 to 25 hours per week.

Duties/Responsibilities

Assisting Accounts Payable with opportunities in General Accounting, Payroll and Accounts Receivable.

Duties include:

• Entering invoices in ERP system
• Validating pricing
• Electronically matching receipts
• Reviewing receipts
• Trouble shooting unvouchered payables
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficient in Excel
• Basic understanding of accounting principles related to A/P & A/R.
• Experience in an ERP is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while working on a computer or documentation, etc.
• Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment.
• Ability to interact with a diversity of people and diverse levels of personnel.
