Senior Data Engineer

The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Tasks:</strong></p><p>- Design and implementation of automated data processing using Databricks</p><p>- Integration (Azure, Databricks and Power BI) and visualization of data in Power BI</p><p>- Further development and design of standard framework components for data processing</p><p>- Design of ELT structures with the system architecture team</p><p>- Collaboration in product team organized according to SAFE</p><p>- Maintenance and further development for existing automated data processing within the Data Lakehouse up to data services</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Knowledge and practical experience in: </strong></p><p>- About 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist or similar field</p><p>- Agile software development processes and data management projects</p><p>- Experience of working in agile software implementation teams</p><p>- The ability to present, visualize and communicate complex technical relationships in a simple way</p><p>- Software development lifecycle</p><p>- Databricks and Azure and Power BI</p><p>- Data architecture (logical and technical)</p><p>- Python Spark &amp; Panda</p><p>- SQL</p><p>- Release process</p><p>- Test Management</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>- Willingness to travel and to be on-site with the customer once each month</strong></p><p>* Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.</p>
