Intel's Foundry - Technology Development (Foundry TD) Automation and Technology Development Automation (AT ATA) organization is seeking software security engineers. The Software Security Engineer role in our team provides engineering, support, and technical leadership to the organization. This position will focus on the design and implementation of security controls surrounding client/server computing assets to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. The role will require close partnership with operational teams, architects, and global supply chain partners to deliver effective tools that manage Intel's systems compliance and minimize risk. Solutions would span all manufacturing segments globally. The selected candidate will report to the Director of TD ATA Factory Security Controls and Compliance (FSCC).
Responsibilities include:
-Establish factory security strategies required to meet compliance objectives.
-Ensure that solutions and capabilities of the security function meet the needs of Intel factories while not adversely impacting velocity.
-Establish, develop, and execute security strategies, including road map alignment, audits and certifications, policy controls and compliance.
-Drive and own responses to new and emerging technologies as it relates to factory security with external partnerships, internal customers and partners promoting strong strategic relationships.
- Establish appropriate factory focused governance, policies, procedures, standards, and controls engineered for manufacturing environments.
-Grow and promote innovations and idea generation.
-Align functional teams internally and externally with TD strategic priorities and ensure strong coordination and resources.
-Demonstrable a track record of delivering major automation programs with broad scope, high levels of complexity within cross functional teams and challenging deliverables environment.
-Knowledge and understanding of interaction with the factory infrastructure and associated application eco-system.
-Receive requirements from partners and factory customers that concurs with appropriate implementation, adoption and modernization of factory security solutions and processes.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, or related engineer discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
-5+ years of practical experience in security related discipline with leadership of technical teams.
-Experience with security governance standards, policies, controls, and associated certifications CISSP, CISM, or other cybersecurity certifications a plus.
-Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring networking equipment and server hardware.
-Knowledge and experience of Cyber Security good practice and implementation of Cyber Security solutions
-Understanding of OT and IT security principles.
-Knowledge in manufacturing automation operational technology such as: Control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) and manufacturing execution systems (Data historians, OEE)
-Knowledge of various Cyber Security and Safety related regulations and standards i.e., NIST Framework, IEC 62443
-Lead remediation tracking meetings to explain vulnerabilities and possible remediation/mitigation solution.
