Performs unskilled and semi-skilled manual work involving the cleaning and maintenance of Recreation facilities including cleaning windows, bathrooms, walls, offices, fitness rooms, etc. Performs a variety of tasks involving significant physical effort. Operates power tools and mechanical cleaning equipment. Performs maintenance tasks utilizing equipment requiring some manipulative skills.
Inspecting equipment regularly to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance.
Cleaning and maintaining facilities, including areas like restrooms, floors, offices and other shared spaces.
Responding to maintenance requests staff, ensuring timely and efficient solutions.
Work Schedule and Location: 40 hours per week. Must be available weekends, mornings and/or nights work required. Schedule is subject to change based on division needs. Work location would be at College Park Neighborhood Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Some laborer experience in maintenance, construction, or repair of building equipment including the use of tools and equipment used in repairs desired. Position requires a valid Florida Driver License.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
