The Technical Project Manager, Direct to Consumer, will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of video playback features across technology and product roadmaps at a global scale. They will manage a range of programs and projects focused on viewing experience optimization, video player functionality, interactive features, and platform stability. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to drive cross-collaboration at scale, and project management expertise. To be successful in this role, a candidate should exhibit a keen ability to understand technology principles and agile delivery. Also of high importance is the ability to establish and maintain key relationships within business and technology groups, and to interact with diverse stakeholders and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead collaboration across the playback workstream to drive stakeholder communications and project delivery visibility
• Drive engagement and partnership with business, product, and engineering workstreams to execute technology deliverables at global scale
• Partner with other PMO and development teams to ensure successful delivery within business expectations and planned roadmaps
• Support capacity planning activities to deliver maximum business value based on critical program KPIs
• Provide workstream governance with clear and consistent communication of project level status for leadership, project sponsors, dependencies, and stakeholders
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
• Facilitate agile delivery of technology development and gain an understanding of streaming technology workflows
• Represent the technology delivery group and advocate for project management standards and best practices
• Utilize enterprise project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet and other applications to provide project status and reporting

Qualifications

• Education of a Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent with a background in technology, engineering, or business administration
• 5+ years project management experience leading complex technology delivery projects, building effective plans, and executing them to completion
• Strong knowledge of project and program management, excellence in communication, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences
• Foundational understanding of software application development and Direct to Consumer infrastructure technologies
• Key understanding of technology principles and delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Working knowledge of project management and tech delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, and others
• Adaptable performer who can lead effectively under pressure and through significant, frequent change
