Products and Materials Buyer

We are looking for a Products and Materials Buyer to join our Quality & Procurement department in Nuvola, our HQ in #Torino within the Products and Materials Procurement team.

 

In this role Products and Materials Buyer, in collaboration with the category managers, is responsible for the activities inherent to the purchasing process in line with the economic and development objectives of the category.

 

�� Your day-to-day activities:

• Ensure the correct purchasing process (RdA/ODA processing, invoice approval)
• Manage sourcing activities for new suppliers/benchmark existing supply base via RFQ
• Independently handle negotiations in coordination with Category Managers and Procurement Managers
• Analyze key market trends and market trends KPIs to support negotiations with suppliers and strategies for category budgets
• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities and reports in collaboration with the Finance team
• Ensure adherence to company guidelines in terms of cost, timing, quality, supplier KPIs
• Provide support for innovation and product development projects

 

�� Who we are looking for:

• A Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or Economics
• At least 3 years experience in the role of direct material buyer, experience in packaging and/or automotive is a plus
• Fluent in Italian and English
• SAP key user knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
