Job Title:  Warehouse Operator – Cistern Room, Dump Room, and Single Barrel Operation

General Description of the Role

Warehouse Operator is a union hourly position responsible filling the roles of the following areas and operations.

Dump Room – barrel dumping

Cistern Room – barrel filling

Single Barrel – transferring barrel liquids through JCS single barrels system and into drums  

 

Mission/Objectives

Warehouse Operator will work in the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner to fill the roles of, Cistern Room, Dump Room or Single Barrel Operators. Warehouse role and will strive to continuously improve the operation.

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Cistern Room Operator

 

The Cistern Room Operator receives raw material from still house, proofs, barrels, and oversees the loading of finished goods to be shipped to warehousing. Other responsibilities include leading and motivating the crew, maintaining accurate documentation, and working through operational issues with the Supervisor.
 

Single Barrel Operator

 

The Single Barrel Operator receives raw material from the Dump Room or Warehouse and oversees the loading of finished goods to be shipped via individual drums. Other responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation and working through operational issues with the Supervisor.

 

Dump Room Operator

 

The Dump Room operator is a classified union hourly position responsible for the safe and efficient bulk dumping of aged bourbon barrels. The Dump Room operator is also responsible for leading and motivating the crew, maintaining close coordination with the Processing, keeping accurate documentation, and working through operational issues with the supervisor.
 

 

 

Quality:

• Responsible for meeting the general needs for Wild Turkey Distilling facility.
• Comply with established work area quality and consistency checks and measures.  Must be attentive at all times.
• Comply with all GMP, ISO and food safety standards related to the work site areas.
