Salary: $194,810.06 - $267,863.83 Annually
The Pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.
The Senior Director position is located in Hillsboro, OR or Dallas, Tx and oversees strategies and initiatives to achieve the business objectives of HTA’s Semiconductor Equipment Division (SED) related to sales of Reactive Ion Etch (RIE or Plasma Etch) equipment to the semiconductor industry. The position will engage the customer, global stakeholders at Hitachi High-Tech (in both Kasado and Tokyo), as well as intra-HTA departments to provide strategic direction and leadership of the key accounts, process engineering teams, demo operations, and/or various associated programs.
- The primary responsibility for this position includes overseeing and providing strategic direction and leadership for SED in all aspects of the business. This includes, but not limited to, overseeing internal and external projects, developing new business opportunities, planning budget proposals for revenue and profit, as well as strategies to achieve those plans from all aspects of the business. This position may be technically oriented, operationally oriented, commercially oriented, or a combination.
- Expected to engage and understand a broad range activities across various departments in the Business Development Group such as the Process Engineering teams, R&D teams, and Evaluation Support teams to deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements for current and future technology semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Oversees and manages multiple teams and various projects to support account activities such as new product development and proposals, operations, and internal projects.
- Directly involved in developing new business opportunities associated with the key accounts including collaborating with potential external partners to develop new technology, products, and value to HTA’s customers.
- Provides input into R&D, product development, process development and demonstrations, commercial elements, production and service capabilities.
- Develop plans and budgets for additional internal personnel and capital resources to support the SED’s activities and designing and/or driving the organization and infrastructure to execute the plan.
- Plans budget proposals for revenue and profit regarding the business of SED. This includes targeting layers to gain, product and technology releases, customer roadmap for technology development and HVM, and developing strategies, and leading operations to achieve those plans in all aspects of the business processes.
- An expert level of hardware and software knowledge of Hitachi’s tools and products is required. Demonstrated ability to engage with the customer, internal HTA teams, and factory in order to create SEED packages, CIP plans, data acquisition and analysis, recommendations to the GM for budget and resources, reporting, and negotiating with the customer.
- Ability to manage ECN’s, CIP’s, Safety and Compliance issues, RUNDA’s, WW VF support and EOL implementation. Aligns with the customer on technical options and drives projects to completion. Manages daily task force items as it relates to all products with the customers organization or other key accounts.
