(Junior) Cloud Service Engineer (all genders)

<h3>The Role</h3> <p>As a Cloud Service Engineer, you will be responsible for technical customer setups of LucaNet in cloud environments and managing and maintaining these systems. The objective of the team is to process service requests within agreed time frames and ensure stable and fully functional cloud environments. <br/><br/>You will provide support to customers, partners, and colleagues through various communication channels and assist with automation, cloud migration projects, and technical documentation.</p> <h3>What you'll do</h3> <ul><li>Install, configure, and assign LucaNet.Software in cloud environments</li><li>Monitor performance, conduct system maintenance, and address malfunctions and failures</li><li>Ensure data protection and security in cloud environments through updates, logins, protocols, and backups</li><li>Support incident, problem, and change management for managed environments</li><li>Create an internal wiki with technical documentation and cloud service guidelines</li><li>Support our customers, partners, and colleagues via phone, email, or remotely with service</li><li>Automate provisioning and rollout processes and supporting the implementation of cloud migration projects</li></ul> <h3>What you bring to the table</h3> <ul><li>Experience in Operational Services with degree in an IT profession or similar</li><li>Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Linux is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with virtualization and hosting providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)</li><li>Knowledge in the area of security and data backup/restore</li><li>Knowledge in the area of networking, specifically VPN</li><li>Experience in proactive monitoring of customer systems</li><li>Experience in developing operational, monitoring, and test concepts</li><li>Good communication skills both German and English</li></ul> <h3>Perks at work</h3> <ul><li><strong>LucaFlex</strong> – We enable you to determine your work schedule and location according to your needs</li><li><strong>Mobile Work</strong> – Sometimes a change of scenery can boost creativity and productivity.
