Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of scalable, reliable, and secure Teamcenter solutions.
  • Coordinate the extension of Teamcenter functionality, while considering constraints and standard methodologies.
  • Establish and uphold industry standards, methodologies, and recommended approaches.
  • Apply standard methodologies to deliver customer value.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for configuration and management.
  • Align Teamcenter deployments with strategic goals and innovation.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and their potential improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout architecture and implementation phases.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting support for complex issues.
  • Make high-level technical decisions regarding system configurations.
  • Provide advanced configuration and customization support.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party providers for successful outcomes.
  • Guide and develop technical resources to ensure excellence.
  • Recommend training and development opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the impact of Capgemini services on customer initiatives.
  • Understand and align with customer goals for efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, sales teams, and project managers.
  • Collaborate with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members to gather and align business requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into system requirements and solutions.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or 10+ years of equivalent experience in PLM.
  • 5+ years of experience with Teamcenter Solutions.
  • Strong understanding of PLM solutions software.
  • Knowledge of common software development principles and lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter configuration through BMIDE and application functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter Visualization, BOM/CAD Management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Experience with PLM systems and data constructs.
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter MFG and SLM/MRO.
  • Experience with DoD entities or contractors.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a United States Citizen with the ability to acquire and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
