The University of Nevada, Reno is accepting applications for a Chemistry Stockroom Assistant for both General and Organic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry.

This position will require laboratory safety training if offer is made.

Responsibilities

• Chemical solution preparation

• Aiding chemistry students with laboratory needs

• Inventory and stocking of stockroom

• Dispense lab chemicals/supplies

• Hazardous materials handling

• Helping with lab turn-around/clean-ups between sections

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno

• Candidate must have completed CHEM 121 or 201

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with completion of CHEM 220 or CHEM 341 preferred

• Candidates with work study are preferred

Schedule

Expected hours to work per week: 10-15

Compensation Grade

Student Employee Level 1

$12.25/hr
