Responsibilities:

 

This individual is an integral member of the Produce Line Engineering team supporting the department mission to deliver solutions to

new and existing customers both internal and external.

 

· Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and test cases for testing software products that integrate with our

Automation Solutions hardware. Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Maintain requirements traceability with

test case coverage. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.

· Analyze and document reasons for test failures, and revise/debug assigned programs and/or procedures as necessary.

Leverage test results to improve or create new test plans.

· Track software problems and verify they have been corrected. Document, maintain, monitor and report on QA metrics.

Participate in the creation and inspection of quality assurance documents.

· Consult with development team on the resolution of problems.

· Document software defects using a bug tracking system, report defects to software developers, provide steps to reproduce

defects and debug issues.

· Functions as a systems expert for automated cutting and spreading systems, specializing in sewn-goods industry applications

and software functionality.

· Documents both the system and process capabilities through the collection and analysis of data utilizing engineering

principles and testing methodologies.

· Follows principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics to solve technical problems, thoroughly document

results, and provide recommendations to team members.

· Collaborates with remote & cross-region colleagues and peers in Europe and China to ensure continuity of documentation

and testing methodology.

 

Qualifications:

· College degree in Engineering or Quality, military training or equivalent is required.

· At least 3-5 years of practical experience in a cutting room manufacturing environment or QA environment with expertise in

various forms of software testing: functional and non-functional testing – regression testing, performance testing.

· An ability to coordinate activities with others in the QA group and an ability to work well in cross functional teams.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills.

· Understanding of the QA process (Agile and Waterfall), tools, and approaches.

· Requires a highly motivated and goal-driven individual with experience working as a member of a cross-functional team.

· Candidate should be technically savvy with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software applications.

· Must be willing and able to occasionally travel domestically and internationally.

The following skills are a plus:

· Proficient in Agile practices

· Experience as a SCRUM master

· Experience with TestRail

· Experience with Jira

· Familiarity with cutting software (automobile, furniture, composites markets), CAD software, etc. in a software testing

environment would be an advantage.

· Experience with simulator/emulator tools test automation tools.

· Experience with testing beyond functional (e.g. Web Accessibility, security, etc.)

· Experience with SQL server or database configuration · Experience with PC and/or Windows operating system configuration
