Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst II

Work Location: Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a remote work opportunity after new hire training is completed on site!

 

In the Accounts Payable Analyst II role is responsible for processing incoming invoices, daily review of issues and performing analysis for achieving measurable departmental goals that align with and support Sun Chemical’s objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

• Organize and maintain supplier contact information, payment terms, and IRS W-9.

• Receive and process non-PO invoices, PO invoices, and disbursements into supplier accounts.

• Distribute internal reimbursement payments.

• Analyze anomalies and determine correct posting steps and workflow processes.

• Evaluate processes to recommend and implement ongoing improvements.

• Perform User Application Testing.

• Seek opportunities to improve AP and implement best practices.

• Participate in complex process improvement or problem resolution initiatives to drive consistency and sustainability within AP.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

• Exposure working with implementation and/or ERP General Accounting preferred
