The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

  • IT Financial Management: Accountable for managing the overall IT department budget. Defines and implements the IT financial management operating model in partnership with the Finance Organization and the IT Leadership Team. Establishes standards, governance, and orchestrates the review cadence with functional IT leadership and the Finance organization. Directs resources within IT and Finance to maintain detailed budget forecasts and actuals and holds IT leadership team members accountable for adherence to their budget targets.

  • Vendor and Contract Management: Responsible for establishing the strategy and managing the relationships, contracts, performance, and risks across key IT vendors. Directs cost optimization efforts with the vendors in partnership with the IT leadership team.

  • Strategic Planning: Supports the Chief Information and Digital Officer and IT Leadership Team in defining and operationalizing the IT strategy in alignment with overall corporate strategies and objectives. Oversees long range planning activities to guide the future state IT organization into alignment with industry benchmarks.

  • Resource Strategy: Defines and drives execution of the IT department resource strategy; drives cost optimization, efficiency, and alignment with strategic department needs.

  • Department Operations Management: Leads various back-office activities to support the daily operations of the IT department

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in FP&A, Program Management, or related roles in a private, public, government or military environment.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 5 years of experience in Information Technology

  • Experience in vendor management and partnership

  • Five (5) years working with globally distributed teams

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s or MBA degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting

  • Professional certifications in FP&A or Program Management related disciplines

  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems

  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work through ambiguity in a high-pressure environment

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry

Work location:
