Job Description:

Responsible for supporting Enterprise Risk Management in its efforts to continuously improve its processes and programs.  Provides timely and effective communications to Discover personnel, including management, on Enterprise Risk Management-related topics.  Ensures the Voice of the Customer is heard and incorporated into Enterprise Risk Management practices and programs.  Effectively challenges the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Policy, and related governance processes.  Actively manages and escalates risks and issues within the day-to-day role to management. 

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, development, implementation, and execution of methodologies to improve Enterprise Risk Management processes and programs.

• Facilitates the coordination of internal audits, consulting engagements, and exams impacting Enterprise Risk Management.

• Coordinates efforts for continuous improvement via Voice of the Customer and other methods of user feedback for Enterprise Risk Management programs.

• Facilitates Enterprise Risk Management communications throughout the organization.

• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with key business stakeholders across the three Lines of Defense. 

• Supports the design, development, implementation, maintenance of risk training materials, tools, and resources.

• Assists in the development, implementation and performance of monitoring processes of the three Lines of Defense for adherence to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

• Assists senior management on ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, Risk Management, IT, or related field

• In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, Risk Analyst, Statistician, Risk Management, Financial Services, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
