About the role

Job Description:

  • As the ORBIS AUKUS program analyst, you will be the ORBIS lead in assisting the program manager establish and maintain program controls and deliverables.

  • Below is a list of tasks that are required as part of this job:

1.            Controls

Utilize Unanet for routine financial reporting: cost, FTE, EAC

Keeps detailed tracking of program labor and ODC costs on a weekly basis.  Maintains a financial dashboard for ORBIS ASC contracts.

Creates labor and ODC forecasts based on Unanet data.

Manages invoicing..from subs and to prime.  Coordinates with ORBIS invoice shop to manage the workflow

2.            Contract Deliverable Management

 Manage weekly/monthly report.  Team effort but DPM polishes and ensures it is sent on time

Track the contract scope baseline to ensure all deliverables are met and documented.

 Assists with the construction, formatting, and review of reports and presentations.

 Staff contract modifications with the PM and contracts as needed

3.            Documents Management

Assists with effective use of sharepoint and teams spaces to ensure adequate standards and efficiencies are maintained with the team's documents management

Audits and identifies issues with documents management or markings of controlled data

4.            Other jobs as assigned

   Management of team travel VISAs

Stand in for team members in customer engagements as appropriate

Assist with awareness and desire for ORBIS and customer with marketing and social media guidance

  • This job is hybrid but requires collaboration with Australian stakeholders, so hours of work will be flexible to allow interaction across different time zones.

  • You will join a self-organizing team of professionals that spall all competencies from operations to sustainment, so be prepared to act as a generalized specialist capable of taking on tasking outside of your specialty. 

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Motivated self-starter with a willingness to take on a challenge that is loosely defined, yet critical to maintaining allied maritime superiority.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.  People skills are a necessary force multiplier for our program.
  • Strong fact-finding, problem-solving, and decision-making skills supported by a willingness to accept authority and accountability for program success.
  • Proficiency in MS 365 applications
  • Proficiency in or ability to master Unanet
  • PMP or equivalent is desired
  • This job does not require or support transition to Australia.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
