IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) seeks a forward-thinking Senior Director of Innovation and Technical Management to lead our research and development team. This role will drive our innovation strategy, oversee technical projects, and ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company, fostering a culture of creativity, and pushing the boundaries of technology.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of innovation strategies, focusing on emerging technologies and market trends.
• Oversee the end-to-end management of technical projects, from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and drive the implementation of new ideas.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, researchers, and project managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee iLab Management, ensuring it is a hub of innovative solutions and projects.
• Provide oversight of Product Delivery, coordinating between teams to ensure seamless execution and quality.
• Act as the owner of emerging technology initiatives, driving new tech solutions' discovery, evaluation, and integration.

Location: This role can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Requirements

• Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum of 12 years, 18 with a Bachelors, of experience in technical and Innovation management, Software Architecture, research and development, product development, and/or innovation leadership roles.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale technical projects and driving innovation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Experience with budgeting and resource allocation.
• Technical Knowledge
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies, industry trends, and their application in driving innovation strategies.
• Strong Knowledge of Innovation Management and Digital Management Constructs for product development and technical deferentiation
• Strong expertise in Enterprise systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Experience overseeing iLab Management, ensuring a hub of innovative solutions and projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of security best practices, cybersecurity framework, zero trust solutions, and the risk management framework (RMF) for technology alignment
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring engineers, researchers, and project managers.
