Your New Role:
The Infrastructure Operations Engineer plays a key role in delivering Voice, Data, and end user support services across Warner Bros Discovery’s diverse production environments—including core campuses, international offices, and temporary remote sites. This position involves close collaboration with the Senior Infrastructure Operations and Network Engineers and cross-functional engagement with Technology and Operations teams to ensure smooth, end-to-end service support—from initial requirements gathering through to implementation and sustained operational delivery.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Service Delivery - Lead the coordination and fulfilment of network, voice, and audio-visual service requests for productions, tenants, and staff, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Infrastructure Management - Oversee the maintenance and organisation of on-premise communications infrastructure, including comms closets, structured cabling, and data centre environments.
Third-Party Coordination - Manage external vendors and service providers during project execution and service outages, including facilitating root cause analysis and resolution.
Documentation Support - Contribute to the accurate collation and maintenance of asset inventories, billing records, and service documentation.
Operational Flexibility - Undertake additional duties as required to support infrastructure and operations continuity.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Required
2+ years of relevant professional experience
Knowledge in data network concepts (wired and wireless), including troubleshooting and diagnostic testing.
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and remote access platforms.
Working knowledge of end-user computing support and related services
Knowledge of copper and fiberoptic cabling and standards, including installation, termination and testing.
Strong technical skills in cabling standards (BICSI, TIA), installation techniques, and troubleshooting.
