About the role

RCT Systems is seeking a Web Developer. This position requires a blend of development, testing, documentation, and engineering skills to support an integrated IT support model. The role focuses on improving web-based applications, systems, and services to increase efficiency, quality, and user experience.

Mandatory Skills:
  • Implementing industry best practices and technical solutions in line with accessibility standards and agile methodology (using Jira).
  • Proposing recommendations that add business value, especially in UX/UI improvement, reducing O&M, and modernizing applications and services.
  • Analyzing and documenting web-based application components, including databases and web services/APIs.
  • Experience in web-based application development, including ServiceNow development and interfacing with databases for report generation.
  • Proficiency with MySQL, Express, MongoDB, version control (Github/Subversion), and cloud development (AWS).
  • Experience in full accreditation lifecycle and managing Tier 1, 2, and 3 support via service management systems.
  • Developing IT support documentation (SOPs, workflows, checklists, architectural diagrams, security plans).
  • Managing enterprise software (including license renewals, patching, and updates).
Optional Skills:
  • Experience working with IT organizations, learning applications, and compliance/performance management tools.
  • Familiarity with COTS products (e.g., Meridian, Saba-Cornerstone LMS), cloud technologies, networking, and hosting platforms.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Java, node.js, React, Vue.js, Angular, PHP, PowerShell, and Joomla.
  • Experience with copyright/accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.0 AA) and Tableau.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
