Sr. Global Supply Manager, IT Infrastructure

We are currently seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager for IT Infrastructure purchasing. The Senior Global Supply Manager is the key internal interface with Suppliers, IT, Retail, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing. They will help establish our IT Infrastructure global supply chain strategy, manage end to end contracting, supplier management, and support cross-functional teams in execution.
You Will:
- Collaborate with IT team to identify potential suppliers with the right qualifications to meet Lucid’s expectations and timeline.
- Conduct RFI, qualify vendors and contractors for procurement request
- Drive supplier selection working with business stakeholders
- Create RFQs, review, analyze and clarify quotations from IT suppliers and service provide to develop sound sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time, and technical considerations.
- Lead research and analytics efforts to validate savings projections and enable more precise supplier negotiations.
- Thoroughly negotiate favorable contracts including equipment pricing, implementation, timing, payment terms and contract terms.
- Interact with all levels of the company with routine administrative support.
- Maintain overall supplier relationships and act as point of contact for all commercial issues, including internal report-outs summarizing sourcing status, availability, and cost status.
- Ownership of key supplier relationships and activities, both strategic and tactical.
- Work with finance, legal, and other cross functional teams
- Travel: This position may require limited travel.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years' experience related to Network connection, Data Center or IT equipment procurement.
- Understanding of technology of IT infrastructure, cloud environment, networking connection and implementation services.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and hands on execution. Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage complex suppliers and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff.
- Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities.
- Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
- Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively.
This is a full-time onsite Monday-Friday role at our NEW Southfield, Michigan office.
