As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate shift activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
