Position Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Lamination Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the production of USV fiberglass components, using composite infusion processes. You will bring infusion process with leadership experience to lead a team and ensure industry leading quality is achieved through application of the engineered systems, contributing directly to the creation of high-quality, innovative USV’s. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leadership:
- This is a working leader role that on the floor producing USV’s with the team every day. As a leader, you will ensure that the safety, quality, delivery and productivity objectives are met while also supporting and developing your team.
- Ensure performance reviews, and all other applicable HR policies and procedures are followed and performed with excellence.

- Safety:
- Personally lead by example by adhering to all safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of you and your team.
- Ensure proper PPE, tools, equipment, and material handling equipment is used correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Be an active safety committee member, leading safety improvements and training.
- Manage all material handling and chemical storage processes.
- Manage and maintain the tooling, resin rig and other critical equipment or tools.
- Plan Prepare and lead the infusion of the USV components. Ensure resin, hardener, glass, core and infusion materials are ready and prepared.
- Perform all the steps of loading, bagging and infusing fiberglass parts.
- Quality / Continuous Improvement
- Conduct in-process quality checks and visual inspections of molds, parts in infusion and finished products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Complete ISPC (In-Station Process Control) sheets to record critical process steps and capture critical to quality, critical to safety and productivity results.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, malfunctions, or quality issues to manager or manufacturing engineers.
- Be a part of new model design reviews and prototyping of new products and processes.
- Lead team meetings and contribute to discussions aimed at improving processes, efficiency, and product quality.
- Adhere to all company quality procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing Supervisor, Team Leader or Manager role.
- 5-10+ years of experience in lamination or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including assembly diagrams.
- Familiarity with OSHA and other manufacturing management practices.
- Strong understanding of infusion processes and safe chemical handling processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work safely.
