Job Description Summary
Classroom Assistants are responsible for providing basic support and assistance to faculty and students in the classroom.The ideal candidate has successfully completed GDES 345 and is familiar with the assignments and will be able to:
• Be present during class times (Class meets Tue/Fri 12:30-3:15) but not the full class period. Starting and ending work times TBD with the instructor. (Probably 1:15 - 3:15)
• Assist the Instructor by helping students with technical/production questions related to Fusion 360, 3D Printing preparation, and other software specific to the assignments in the GDES 345 class

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleans, organizes and maintains classroom equipment.
Helps maintain classroom and storage areas.
Assists with taking attendance and organizing student work.
Assists in setting up and troubleshooting classroom technology.
Foster a friendly and supportive atmosphere for students.
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to work reliable and punctual.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using applicable technology and software.
Education and Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be enrolled at Ringling College of Art and Design.
Must be in good academic standing.
Has successfully completed GDES 345
