About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist Lead is responsible for identifying, attracting, pre-screening, and sourcing qualified talent using different niche channels and social media outlets, as well as managing the day-to-day tasks and processes performed by the Talent Acquisition team members.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct reports.

Essential Functions:

•Working closely with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and develop a hiring strategy for each role.

•Identifying, attracting, and sourcing hard-to-find passive talent using different niche sites/channels like LinkedIn and other social media outlets.

•Preparing job descriptions and managing postings on career websites and other relevant posting websites.

•Managing all aspects of the recruitment process, including pre-screening, on-site interviewing, reference checks, and making offers.

•Updating the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), coordinating background verifications aligned with company processes, and managing all follow-up communications.

•Preparing and processing hiring documentation in collaboration with the Human Resources department.

•Managing the day-to-day operations/tasks of the Talent Acquisition team

•Maintaining and promoting company policies and procedures of the recruitment process

•Researching and participating in the most relevant career fairs, local job fairs, and professional events to support the growth plan.

•Implementing brand confidence and retention practices amongst newly recruited talent.

•Continually identifying new opportunities for key process improvement initiatives that help improve the recruiting strategy at Fuel.

•Foster and maintain professional relationships with existing employees.

Competencies:

•Knowledge of industry-related hiring criteria is a plus.

•Skilled in sourcing and landing top talent in the industry.

•Skilled in verbal and written communication is a must.

•Ability to be strategic, dynamic, enthusiastic, and quick to take initiative.

•Ability to utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office suite, including Word / Excel / Outlook.

•Highly motivated, goal-driven, result-oriented, and team player.

Work Environment:

Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally visit work sites.

Travel Requirements:

•Ability to travel up to 25% of work time.

Preferred education and experience:

•Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

•Previous experience in recruiting

Work authorization requirements:

Position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job. Must meet I-9 requirements.
