Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)

 

We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager!

 

This position is also known as a Pharmacist in Charge/Director of Pharmacy.  This position is responsible for the overall direction, operation and management of the Pharmacy Department at the Clinic.

 

Part Time Hours:

Monday through Friday 5:00 AM EST until 11:00 AM EST

Rotating Saturdays 6:45 AM EST until 9:00 AM EST

Compensation starting at $62/hr!

Starting at Part-time with benefits with the potential to move to Full-time!

Our Team:

Ridgeland Comprehensive Treatment Center, located in Ridgeland, SC is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation. Our nursing team provides compassionate, high quality safe and efficient medication dispensing to patients that are seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. 

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure legal operation of the pharmacy, including meeting all inspection and other requirements of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing pharmacy operations.
  • Maintain records of all transactions of the pharmacy necessary to ensure accurate control over and accountability for all drugs as required by applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Plan, organize and direct general pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Develop budgets and policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
  • Maintain contact with other department heads, medical staff and nursing staff to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes and promote effective drug therapy.
  • Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
  • Establish satisfactory methods of drug distribution and control.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and comply with the HIPAA Privacy Rule Standards.
  • Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
  • Actively participate in Medical Staff/P&T, Process Improvement, and Safety Committees
  • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.  Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Your Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pharm D degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required.
  • Three or more years’ pharmacy experience required.
  • State board requirements as a Director or Pharmacist-In-Charge required.
  • Maintain an active and in good-standing State license. May hold other degrees or certifications.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current license to dispense pharmaceuticals in the state of South Carolina
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required, based on state or facility requirements.
