Senior Enterprise Analyst

PURPOSE
The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a versatile professional adept at both technical support and system development. They will excel in analyzing and optimizing business processes within their assigned area, leveraging their strong understanding of IT systems and business needs. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, developing enhancements, and conducting in-depth analysis to drive continuous improvement. Their expertise contributes significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
• Analyze and optimize existing Active Directory environments, groups policies, and authentication mechanisms.
• Lead or support projects involving AD migrations, consolidations, or upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain system workflows and integrations.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as user manuals, training materials, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and training to IT teams and end users.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for identity management.
• Research new technologies and methods for directory management to enhance business processes.
• Create and present reports to executive team members and shareholders to support recommendations.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies to understand how to better serve the global needs for SMC.
• All other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Available for off-hour meetings and work to accommodate global time zones
• Collaborative team environment in a shared workspace
• General office, computer room, warehouse, and factory areas
• International and domestic travel as required
• Able to sit for extended periods of time
• Minimum lifting requirements of 15 pounds

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience.
• 10+ years systems analysis experience or IT infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise in Active Directory, including domain services, group policy, and federation services.
• Strong experience with Entra ID and hybrid infrastructure for Microsoft 365.
• Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and Kerberos.
• Experience with enterprise applications and identity integrations (e.g. SSO, MFA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with global teams and supporting international IT environments is recommended.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
• Willingness and Ability to travel abroad.
