Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our growing practice includes 214 radiologists, 44 advanced practice providers, and more than 200 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. We provide services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan.


What we are looking for: We are hiring for a part-time Clinical Applications Associate role for first shift. This positions will include the daily technical, operational, and clinical workflow of the Distributed Radiology (DR) environment to ensure the highest level of service to physicians, hospital clients, and patients that we serve. This is an entry level clerical role within our Clinical Applications and IT support team. This is a performance based remote position; must be located within 1 hour of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

  • Communicate critical results and significant findings to care team providers.
  • Provide report information via phone and fax.
  • Assist with patient recall and addendum requests.

Part-Time Schedule:

  • Tuesday, Thursday, and every other Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
  • Plus one Sunday a month

Requirements

  • Medical terminology education
  • Minimum of one year experience in Customer Service, high volume Call Center, Medical Assistant, Radiology Tech/Support or Information Technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required and prior knowledge of the PACS system is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email, instant message and face-to-face interactions
  • Associate’s degree or higher education is preferred
  • Must be located within 1 hour of Grand Rapids, Michigan
