Job Summary:
The Senior Administrative Assistant is an integral position within the Skier Services Department here at Okemo. This role is responsible for providing administrative support for the Ski & Ride School, Competition Center, Childcare, tubing, and summer activities. These responsibilities include employee on-boarding/off-boarding,payroll and data entry, purchasing, expense tracking and reporting operations.

- Starting Wage: $21.57/hr - $29.54/hr

Job Responsibilities:
- Hiring of non-management employees: post positions, manage target levels,process applications, interview and process job offers, process data and paperwork, communication of new hires with supervisory staff.Assistance in hiring of management personnel.
- Purchasing oversight for day-to-day supplies as well as capital purchases for the department.
- Track the operating expense budget and capital project budgets.
- Track and distribute employee housing to Skier Services Department employees based upon assigned allocation provided by Human Resources.
- Oversight of timely and accurate payroll entry and auditing for hourly staff by other department administrators.
- Maintain payroll SOPs. This includes but is not limited to retro pay, involuntary termination entries and check requests. Approve bi-weekly payroll. Accurate record keeping and delivery of paychecks.
- Manage & update the Ski & Ride School website with newsletter and other employee information. Maintain correspondence to/from the staff website,resort comms mechanisms, and the Ski & Ride School social media efforts.
- Work closely with and assist other members of the administration and supervisory team. Perform other projects as requested by the leadership team of the Skier Services Department.
- This position reports directly to the Director of Skier Services.
- Other duties as assigned.
