Evening Security Officer - Mon. - Sat., 4:30 pm - 2:30 am

Position: PM Security Officer

Shift: 10 hours

Hours: Monday night 4:30pm – Saturday morning 2:30am

 

Description: We are seeking experienced, motivated, and dedicated security professionals for our fulfillment center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  

  

To be successful you should have a high level of energy & professionalism, a strong work ethic, a safety-first mentality, the ability to arrive on time and work in a timely manner, the ability to follow instruction & rules, the ability to pay attention to detail & quality, the ability to seek understanding and ask questions, and the ability to work with others in a team setting. 

 

Duties:

• Checking in/out employees, contractors, and visitors
• Patrolling and securing the facility
• Responding to alarms and emergencies
• Reporting and documenting daily activities and report writing
• Communicating with management and escalating concerns
• Following and enforcing SOPs
• Cleaning and organizing workplace
• Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

• Proficient in usage of computers and other technology to communicate and complete job tasks digitally
• Be able to understand and communicate in both Spanish and English effectively.
• The ability to communicate in a professional manner.
• Able to listen to and follow instruction
• Lift and carry up to 45lbs
• Stand/walk normal pace throughout a shift

 

Preferred:

• More than 2 years experience in security, law enforcement, or military
• First aid/CPR/AED certified
• Good conflict resolution/people skills
• The ability to make decisions independently
