Job Description:

JR Automation is looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Technician to support our Holland, MI division. In this role, you are responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. You will perform electrical, painting, and/or carpentry repairs of fixtures and equipment on company premises, and conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.

This is an onsite, 1st shift opportunity in Holland, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects, maintains, and performs semi-skilled repairs of equipment and grounds of assigned facilities.

• Responsible for maintaining ISO documentation and maintenance records as they relate to equipment and facilities.

• Assists with the hiring and supervision of facilities assistants as applicable.

• Assists with, and performs preventive maintenance on, all internal equipment including HVAC, machines, forklifts, and other building systems.

• Assists with the selection and management of outside contractors in the performing of advanced facility and machine repairs and projects.

• Assist fellow employees with facilities and maintenance needs.

• Employs and maintains 5S Solutions.

• Assists the EH&S team.

• Audits and manages the cleanliness of assigned facilities including office spaces, build floors, and facility exteriors and assists with the supervision of custodial venders at assigned facilities including audits of performance.

Qualifications:    

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2-3 years related experience and/or training

• Experience in building trades and/or machine maintenance preferred
