Position Overview
Join our growing Cardiac Telemetry Unit, located on a beautiful newly expanded patient care floor designed to support both our patients and caregivers. This state-of-the-art unit provides a collaborative environment where nurses play a vital role in monitoring and caring for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions while utilizing advanced telemetry technology.We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift position working two 12-hour shifts per week. In this role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced cardiac setting.

$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience-----
Sign-On Bonus
Up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria.
What You’ll Do
Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients
Serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit assignment and patient safety needs
Educate patients and families on health promotion, treatment plans, and disease management
Utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications in accordance with UHS policies
Support effective resource use, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services
Adhere to all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies
Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, Unit Council activities, and improvement initiatives
Contribute to peer review processes and integrate evidence‑based practice and nursing research
Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees, students, and clinical observers
Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and mandatory training
Perform additional duties as assigned to support safe, effective patient care

Education & Experience
Minimum Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
Licensure & Certifications
Minimum Required:
Current New York State Registered Nurse License
Preferred:
CCRN certification
Additional skills certifications as required (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC)
