Job Description
THE POSITION:
The HR Technology Manager is responsible for leading and executing the integration of our global HR business processes with our HR technology solutions, while ensuring data accuracy, security, and optimization. This role will proactively partner with internal functional owners, technical resources, key stakeholders, and shared services partners to lead and execute the optimization of current functionality as well as drive new functionality and improvements. In addition, this role will lead the day-to-day management and maintenance of our current technology landscape, including: scheduling and communicating system maintenance and upgrades, management and escalation of technical issues (internal user support & external vendor support), and manage break/fix and enhancements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the HR Technology Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business, HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and Legal to understand the business needs and process in order to optimize HR processes across our technology solutions.
- Significantly contribute to visioning of future HCM system needs, based on sound process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong global stakeholder relationships across the organization.
- Partner with HR functional owners to drive global process and system enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage and prioritize our global maintenance, support requests, and enhancements to best utilize resources and budget allocation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the People Systems team through operational management, staff planning, resource allocation, and staff development.
- Ensure global compliance with respect to segregation of duties, security and controls, and privacy.
- Ensure customer feedback and other measurement mechanisms are in place.
- Manage and lead key stakeholders and technical resources to define requirements, manage project tasks, and execute testing activities.
- Maintain understanding of industry trends and best practices in regard to technology.
- Manage and lead cross-functional projects supporting the functional delivery and leading the technical execution through timely implementations and stabilization.
- Understand critical internal and external interfaces and how data is used throughout our end-to-end processes and systems.
- Responsible for the overall management and delivery of configuration, testing, and documentation to any changes to the system, security, and reporting.
- Lead the analysis and deployment of future releases and system maintenance.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
