About Duke Health's Patient Revenue Management Organization

 

Pursue your passion for caring with the Patient Revenue Management Organization, which is Duke Health's fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization that supports the entire health system in streamlining the revenue cycle. This includes scheduling, registration, coding, billing, and other essential revenue functions.

 

ONSITE POSITION: Monday - Thursday (Third Shift: 8:00pm - 6:30am)

 

 

This position provides support/back up for evening and night Manager

• Additional support for evening and night staff
• Provide excellent customer service, service recovery, employee engagement, provide training to the staff, QA, reports, complete WQs Edits, Daily deposit, registration, patient and trauma Arrival ,train and QA new staff amongst other duties as assigned 
• Backup for when the evening and night Manager has meetings and training sessions to attend
• Help cover when staff are off, PTO/callouts while still completing TL duties (multitasking)
• Provide additional support for early AM staff
• Valuables release for both ED and north ad missions overnight
• Evenings and nights takes on additional responsible after 5pm and 9pm until morning: medical records, information des k, all in-patient admissions, solid organ registration, Search America f or social workers after hours, follow-up appointments
• This position requires reliability,  team work and outstanding customer service to b oth our internal and external customers

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education

College degree preferred or significant years of patient revenue cycle/process experience in lieu of college degree. Additional specialized training relevant to job responsibility.

Experience

5 years experience in a Healthcare or Business setting or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience engaged in analytical and compliance issues.

 

Degrees, Licensures, Certifications

Certification in related field of experience preferred but not required.
